Student Life & Housing

Being a graduate student at Lehigh means becoming a part of a diverse and close-knit community. The personal friendships and professional network you build during your years in Bethlehem will last well beyond Lehigh.

Student Life

The Graduate Life Office is an important component of your experience. They are here to support you and offer a range of programs, services and resources that will allow you to make the most of your time at Lehigh.

From cultural breakfasts to “What’s Brewing,” our evening discussion panels, graduate students can chart their own Lehigh experience. Here in Bethlehem and within a short drive, students and their families can experience some of the country’s most festive arts and music programs, sporting events and spiritual and wellness activities. Graduate students and postdocs are welcome to invite their spouses and partners to participate in programs both on campus and in the community.

The Graduate Life Office works closely with the Graduate Student Senate. Lehigh’s graduate students are an active and involved group of individuals, and the Graduate Student Senate is their campus advocate—an elected student body created to give a voice to graduate students’ concerns and feedback.

Graduate Housing

Graduate students are a vital part of Lehigh’s community of scholars. We provide a variety of living accommodations that offer a comfortable, stimulating environment where students can live and learn. The residences are selected through a housing lottery. For information on other off-campus housing options, please contact the Graduate Life Office.
