50 Days Until 'Rivalry 150'

In late November, Lehigh will take the field at New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium to square off against their longtime rivals from Lafayette.

The game, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, will be an historic occasion not only for the two universities, but for all of college football, as the Mountain Hawks and Leopards will be meeting for a record 150th time. No rivalry series in the nation has been played more often.

In fact, entering this season, the Mountain Hawks and the Leopards had played out their grudge match 19 more times than Harvard had played Yale, 32 more times than Auburn had played Georgia, 35 more times than Navy had played Army and 39 more times than Ohio State had played Michigan.

In total, Lafayette holds a 77-67-5 lead in the series, though Lehigh has won five of the last six.

This year’s game is already sold out, and will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
