Lehigh announces tuition increase for upcoming academic year

Lehigh University’s Board of Trustees recently approved tuition and fee increases for the upcoming 2016-17 academic year.

The university’s Board has approved the undergraduate tuition increase of 4.5 percent.

For the 2016-17 academic year, tuition will increase by $2,060 from $45,860 to $47,920. The total cost of attending Lehigh as an undergraduate, including tuition, typical room and board charges, and the undergraduate technology fee, will be approximately $61,010.

The university remains committed to offering students an extraordinary educational experience while prudently managing university resources.

Lehigh is also committed to providing financial assistance to students in need. Late last year, Lehigh announced a new financial aid initiative that will see Lehigh meet 100 percent of every student’s demonstrated financial need. This initiative places Lehigh among a select group of institutions that have similar programs in place.

Families receiving or applying for financial aid and families whose circumstances have changed can find information on available programs on the Lehigh Admissions website at www.lehigh.edu/financialaid
