Where is graduation held?
Graduation will be held outdoors in Goodman Stadium on Lehigh's Goodman Campus. View Stadium Diagram. In case of severe weather, please visit severe weather information.

When should family and guests arrive for graduation?
Goodman Stadium gates and Stabler Arena doors, on Lehigh’s Goodman Campus, open at 8:45 a.m. We strongly encourage you arrive early to avoid traffic backups and parking delays. In addition, all bags will be checked upon entering.

When should students arrive for graduation?
Graduating students must arrive at Goodman Stadium no later than 8:30 a.m. to receive their processional card and be lined up. They should check in at the registration tables set up on the EAST side of the stadium.

Do I need tickets to get in?
Tickets are not required for admission to the graduation ceremony in Goodman Stadium.

What happens if it rains?
Graduation will be held outdoors rain or shine in Goodman Stadium. In the event of severe weather, there will be two abbreviated ceremonies in Stabler Arena. For further details, visit severe weather information.

Where should I park?
For general parking, please park next to Stabler Arena on Lehigh's Goodman Campus. No one will be allowed into the tailgating area behind Goodman Stadium. For mobility-impaired parking, please email your name, mailing address, and phone number to inuday@lehigh.edu. Parking permits will be mailed two weeks prior to the ceremony. No reservations will be taken after Wednesday, May 2.

Is there seating available for individuals with disabilities?
Special bleacher sections are available for individuals with disabilities on a first-come, first-served basis. Faculty ushers will be available for assistance. Are animals allowed into Goodman Stadium and/or Stabler Arena for Commencement?
Only service dogs are allowed to accompany their owner to Commencement, no house pets. Owners must be prepared to present, upon request, their service dog paperwork.

Is there an indoor viewing site available to watch Commencement?
For your comfort and convenience, an indoor ceremony viewing site will be available in Stabler Arena located south of Goodman Stadium. Shuttles will be available to transport guests between the stadium and arena during the ceremony. If you think you might take advantage of the alternate viewing site, it is recommended that you park in the lots surrounding Stabler Arena.

How should I dress?
Please keep in mind that Commencement will be held outdoors in a football stadium so bring your creature comforts. Hats to shield your head from the sun, sunglasses, sunscreen, stadium cushions, etc. are recommended. In the event of rain, bring your umbrella and rain gear. High heels are not recommended for guests and/or graduates.

Are refreshments available?
Complimentary water stations will be located throughout the stadium and water bottles will be placed under the graduates’ chairs. The ceremony typically runs from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. so don’t skip breakfast. For your convenience, concession stands will also be open.

Will there be photographs available of students after the ceremony?
Photographers from GradImages will be at the ceremony to take candid photos of each student during their moment of recognition. Within 5 to 7 days of the ceremony, each student will receive digital proofs by email for purchase. You may order online at www.gradimages.com or call (800) 261-2576. Since photographs will be available, family members and guests are encouraged to remain in their seats, relax and enjoy the ceremony.

How long does the ceremony last?
The ceremony should last until approximately 12:45 p.m. Following the ceremony, all graduates are invited to meet with family and friends at their college tent located on the south side of Goodman Stadium. Limited seating available. For those making restaurant reservations after the ceremony, allow yourself enough travel time and anticipate traffic delays. 

How can I purchase graduation announcements?

How do I order roses for my graduate?
College graduation is an achievement worthy of a special celebration. Honor your graduate's commencement with a beautiful bouquet of roses. They are available by the dozen, presented to you gift boxed, along with a gift card with your personal message. All proceeds benefit the Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley, a non-profit United Way agency. Order roses for your graduate here

Will the ceremony be videotaped?
This Commencement event is being recorded and will be streamed online the day of the event. Your attendance at Commencement will indicate your consent for streaming and the appearance of your image in any footage, including the use of the recording for future purposes. The ceremony is being recorded for web streaming purposes only and is not commercially available.

When will the diplomas be mailed and what address are they sent to?
Diplomas will be mailed to the address that graduate candidates listed when completing their graduation application. Estimated delivery time is four to six weeks after Commencement.
