Though there are no specific deadlines to apply for financial aid as a graduate student, students must apply for and accept awards prior to the end of the period of enrollment being considered. Financial aid application materials and awards are specific to an academic year (summer, fall, winter, spring). Financial Aid Notification emails are sent on a rolling basis. To apply for a Direct loan or PLUS loan, graduate students must complete and submit the following information:
Direct Loan Graduate PLUS Master Promissory Note (MPN/Application) - Complete the MPN online. Be sure to electronically sign (e-sign) the application/promissory note to take advantage of the most efficient way to deliver the funds to the student’s account. In addition, a yearly Direct PLUS loan application must be completed to confirm the borrower is creditworthy. As part of the process, Lehigh University Office of Financial Aid will certify enrollment, cost of attendance and other aid received.
