About Lehigh

Government Relations

The Lehigh Office of Government Relations represents the interests of the university's students, faculty and staff on legislative and regulatory matters before federal and state government officials. As a leading institution of higher education and research, Lehigh plays an important role in the development of public policy in both Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. The Office of Government Relations leverages Lehigh's academic strengths and the expertise of our senior officials to better inform policymakers as they craft policies that impact the university - from scientific research funding, to student financial aid decisions, or any government action that influences the lives of our students, faculty and staff. We work with the campus community, our peer universities in Pennsylvania, and higher education leaders around the country, to build stronger partnerships between Lehigh University and elected and appointed officials in the Commonwealth and the federal government.

The Office of Government Relations is available to help the campus community successfully navigate federal and state affairs. Please let us know how we can help you plan your strategic engagement of government officials.
