Richards houses 143 students on four floors. Students live in singles and doubles. All the rooms contain movable furniture, including a bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, and closet or wardrobe for each resident.

A TV lounge, study lounge, game room, kitchen, vending machines and laundry facility are on the first floor.
