In the News: Brown and White on IPD Student Entrepreneurs

IPD Project Sponsor Fair

The Lehigh student newspaper The Brown and White reports that the student team consisting of Jake Reppert ('08), fifth-year student Robert Sandie (Computer Science and Business), Greg Gurevich (Industrial & Systems Engineering), and graduate assistant Donna DeMarco were awarded the grand prize in the IPD program's Student Entrepreneurship Competition. The team received $2,000 as seed money for their project, as well as the opportunity to participate in upcoming meetings with potential sponsors that will help them turn their idea for marketing online video software into reality.
“The IPD program’s great because they give you the resources, the environment, to excel in something like this,” Sandie told B&W. “The entrepreneurship class is a great class. I highly suggest it for anyone who’s interested in start-up business.”
