Seasons greetings from South Mountain

On behalf of Lehigh and the Alumni Association staff, I wish all of you a wonderful holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year. I am surprised, as I write this letter, that it is still sunny and fairly warm on campus! It will not be a true Lehigh winter for me until snow covers most of South Mountain.
If you have favorite pictures of the campus covered in snowfall, or of you and your classmates sliding down the hill on cafeteria trays, we would love to see them. Send the picture, along with a caption or a special memory that goes along with it, to me at chris.marshall@lehigh.edu and let us know if we can use it online or in a print publication.
Remember to sign up for a January Career Networking Reception (CNR) in your area. The CNRs, offered in 10 cities this year, provide a fabulous opportunity for alumni to network with each other and with current students. AlumniConnect, a secure Web site exclusively for CNR attendees, allows you to submit a profile, search for people in relevant fields, and maintain a list of contacts. You receive a login and password upon registration. Spots are filling up fast, so sign up now.
Classes are over, the students are finishing up finals, and by the 22nd most of them will be gone. Don’t forget that your Alumni Association is always here, working to bring you the best benefits and services possible. As we enter a new year, and you start making those new resolutions, maybe we can help. If you are looking for a new job, a cruise to Antarctica or a South African rail journey, new car insurance, or a new credit card, we have made arrangements with some of the best companies to bring you the best possible deals. Visit the benefits and services page of our Web site for more information, or call the office at (610) 758-3135. If there is a service you are interested in and we do not have it, let us know that, too. Don’t be shy, because if you are interested, there is a good chance many other alumni are as well, and we will look into it.
If you have not finished your holiday shopping yet, especially for a fellow Lehigh grad or family member, we can help with that too! Visit our Web site for Lehigh alumni memorabilia.
Until next year …
