During a student's first year at Lehigh, the Office of the First-Year Experience provides guidance, support and resources to make the transition to university life a successful one. The OFYE also plans events throughout the academic year to support the student's living and learning experiences.
Prelusion is a three-day pre-Orientation experience that provides first-year students an opportunity to explore a topic of their choosing even before their orientation begins. Students sharing a similar interest can jump-start their Lehigh experience, familiarize themselves with the campus culture and make connections.
One of Lehigh's hallmark events takes place during orientation weekend, when the class that graduated 50 years earlier returns to Lehigh to "adopt" the incoming class. This first official gathering of the incoming class is a tradition that's been celebrated for more than 70 years.
