The Smart Growth Working Group hosted their third open Forum on October 6th, which focused on the Goodman Campus. The Forum, held on Goodman Campus in the Cundey Varsity House, attracted over 200 students, faculty and staff.

On Monday, October 10th, a Research Symposium was hosted by the Research for Impact Working Group. The working group’s process initially invited faculty from all disciplines to submit proposals on promising areas of research investment. That call for proposals process garnered 51 submitted proposals, with 31 proposals being presented at the Symposium.

On Tuesday, October 11th, the Office of Strategic Planning and Initiatives and all four working groups hosted a half-day strategic planning session in the lobby of Fairchild Martindale Library. Students engaged in conversation about questions related to education, user experience, research, and growth.

While the working groups will continue to host engagements, they will also turn their focus toward distilling the information they have gathered to develop initial proposals for consideration.

As a reminder, mark your calendars for November 16, 2022 - 3:30 to 5:00 pm - at Mountaintop (Wood Dining Hall) for an important Campus Conversation–formal invitation to follow.
