Register for Lehigh workshop on trends in computationally-intense research

On October 5-6, Lehigh Engineering is hosting a workshop for researchers from all fields of science and engineering to discuss the pervasiveness of computational methods in science and engineering research, and to explore related challenges and opportunities.

There is no charge for Lehigh faculty, staff, or students to attend Computational Engineering & Science/HPC: Enabling New Discoveries; however, all participants will need to register through the workshop Web site.
The workshop, taking place in Iacocca Hall on Lehigh's Mountaintop Campus, will bring together experts from Lehigh and other organizations – those who explore high-end computational technology and methodologies, and those who explore other areas of science and engineering and increasingly rely on high performance computing platforms for success. Together, these perspectives will lead to new opportunities for discovery and accelerate advances in areas such as information and communication science, bioengineering and health care, energy and the environment, civil infrastructure, and nanotechnology.
