Grounds Maintenance Facility
The Facilities Services and Campus Planning office provides campus and facilities management services, including program fulfillment, efficient use of physical and financial resources, attention to long-term maintenance and operational costs, quality of space and materials, compliance with life-safety codes and adherence to established policies and guidelines.
The mission of Environmental Health and Safety is to promote a safe and healthful environment for the University through the development and implementation of health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs and procedures, which include hazardous waste management, NRC License administration, inspections, training sessions, and emergency response actions.
Each student has a desk, desk chair, bookshelf, bed, dresser, medicine cabinet with mirror and a closet.
The first floor features a multifunction area with a large TV room, game room, a study area and kitchen. Laundry facilities and a vending area are centrally located within the complex.
The E.W. Fairchild-Martindale Library and Computing Center contains library resources for all branches of science, engineering, mathematics, and the social sciences including business and education. The 4th (main) floor and 5th floor south areas have spaces for team-oriented, collaborative learning and study. The 3rd floor features the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Digital Media Studio, and Cafe. Desktop computers are available on the 1st floor of the Computing Center, and on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the Library.
Drown Hall houses the English department and the Writing and Math Center.
Houses the Summer Sessions and the Office of Distance Education.
The University offers over 200 courses each summer, including travel programs in Europe, Asia and Mexico; on-campus courses for undergraduates and graduates, adult professionals in business and education and students at other colleges who return to their Lehigh Valley homes for the summer. A growing number of summer courses are offered on-line.
Diamond House is part of the Saucon Village Apartment Complex. Located in Saucon Valley, approximately three miles from Lehigh’s Asa Packer Campus and adjacent to the Murray H. Goodman Campus, the Saucon Village Apartment Complex is available for single and married graduate students.
