7.13.21: Reminder: COVID Vaccination Status Survey/Vaccination Clinic

A message sent to faculty and staff.

Dear Colleagues,

On Friday, July 2, we shared a survey from the Bethlehem Health Bureau (BHB) regarding our campus COVID vaccination status. Thank you to the many faculty and staff who have already completed the survey, which will allow us to better understand the overall vaccination rate of our campus community, plan for the fall semester and modify our plans as needed.

If you have not yet completed the survey, please do so here as soon as possible. As a reminder, the information BHB provides to the university will be in an aggregate form without personally identifiable information, and will be used to inform our decisions in the days ahead.

On-Campus Vaccination Clinic: August 17

Vaccination continues to be the best way for us to ensure a safe and healthy campus, particularly with the rise of new and more transmissible variants of the virus. We strongly encourage all faculty and staff to protect themselves, their loved ones and the broader community through vaccination.

For those who are not yet vaccinated and wish to receive a vaccine, we have scheduled an on-campus vaccination clinic on Tuesday, August 17, in the Butz Lobby of Zoellner Arts Center, offering first doses of the Pfizer vaccine, with a return date on September 7 for the second dose. Register here. This clinic will be available to Lehigh employees and their families (children 12 and older). Please watch your email for a link to sign up. For those unable to attend the August 17 clinic, COVID vaccines are now widely available throughout the Lehigh Valley. You can find additional locations here.

As the start of the fall semester draws near, we are grateful for your continued efforts to ensure a successful return to the Lehigh we love.
