The Environmental Initiative presents an address by Michael Krancer, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The department of civil and environmental engineering and the department of art, architecture and design present the Fazlur Rahman Khan Lecture by Theodore V. Galambos ’59 Ph.D., professor emeritus of civil engineering at the University of Minnesota.

The event begins at 4:10 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. It is part of the Fazlur R. Khan Lecture Series.

Monday, April 23: “Chinese Traditional Wooden Architecture in Context”

The Chinese Bridge Project II Lecture Series presents an address by Lindsay Jones of Ohio State University, editor-in-chief of the MacMillian Encyclopedia of Religion, author of The Hermeneutics of Sacred Architecture: Experience, Interpretation, Comparison, and coeditor of Mesoamerica's Classic Heritage: From Teotihuacan to the Aztecs.

The event begins at 4:15 p.m. in Room 480 of Maginnes Hall. It is cosponsored by ArtsLehigh, the Asian Studies program, Global Studies, the Humanities Center, the department of modern languages and literatures, and the department of religion studies.
