Tuesday, Jan. 25: “Embrittlement in Aluminum Lithium Alloys: Side Lessons Learned from Helicopter
Crashes”

The department of materials science and engineering and the Center for Advanced Materials
and Nanotechnology present an address by Timotius Pasang, deputy head of the mechanical and
manufacturing department at AUT University in Auckland, New Zealand, and Loewy Visiting Professor in
the materials science and engineering department at Lehigh.

The event begins at 4:10 p.m. in Room 203 of Whitaker Lab.

The office of multicultural affairs presents an address by Tim Wise, author of Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Liberalism.
