The department of sociology and anthropology presents an address by David Casagrande, associate professor of anthropology at Western Illinois University.

The Humanities Center presents a lecture by Linda Williams, professor of film, media and rhetoric at the University of California-Berkeley.

The Pitcher Lecture Series of the department of mathematics presents a third address by Manjul Bhargava, professor of mathematics at Princeton University.

The event begins at 4:10 p.m. in Sinclair Auditorium. It is part of a three-day series of talks by Bhargava on “Quadratic and Higher Degree Forms in Arithmetic.”

The department of physics presents an address by George Kuczynski ’74, director of engineering, procurement and construction with PPL's nuclear development division.

Friday, March 18: “How an Engineering Education Affected My Career”

The Spencer C. Schantz Distinguished Lecture Series of the department of industrial and systems engineering features an address by Irwin Young, a member of Lehigh’s Class of 1950, who is chairman of the board of DuArt Film Laboratories Inc. and president of Western Broadcasting Corp. of Puerto Rico.

In 2000, Young received the Gordon E. Sawyer Oscar Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for “technological contributions that have brought credit to the industry.”
