December 14, 2009: Message from Dr. Susan Kitei, director of the Lehigh University Health and Wellness Center

The Health and Wellness Center has a limited number of doses of H1N1 injectable vaccine. We are now able to make the H1N1 flu vaccine shots available to any member of the campus community, free of charge, who desires vaccination. Please keep in mind that this vaccine may take up to two weeks to become effective.

This week, students who want the vaccine should come to our office between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. on December 14 through 16, and staff and faculty should come between noon and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17. No appointments are required through December 17.

Beginning Friday, December 18, those with a Lehigh I.D. who wish to be vaccinated should call (610) 758-3870 to set up an appointment.

Before coming to our office, please review the VIS (vaccine information sheet) and print out and sign the consent form. These forms can be found on the right side of our home page (www.lehigh.edu/health) under Immunizations.

Sincerely,

Dr. Susan Kitei
Director
