Have you resolved to reconnect in 2012?

I am delighted to kick off the new year by providing a glimpse into the Alumni Association’s plans for 2012. We are busy creating new activities and enhancing existing programs that provide even more benefit to you.

In 2012, there will be more ways to connect with Lehigh, including additional regional events and volunteer opportunities. We created Mountain Talks webinars in 2011 and are working to build a robust line-up for 2012. This new program brings South Mountain to you! Each 30-minute session covers thought-provoking topics and offers an opportunity for live Q&A. Have a suggestion for a future Mountain Talks? Let us know.

When was the last time you were on South Mountain? Reunion 2012 will be the same weekend as Commencement—when the campus is alive with activity—and the team is planning a weekend packed full of great events. Want to sharpen your mind? Join one of the several educational sessions with engaging and provocative topics. Want to bring your family? Child care will be available and many activities will be family friendly.

Remember everyone is invited—Reunion is not just for milestone years. There’s truly something for everyone. Mark May 18-21 on your calendars now and look for details in the coming weeks!

Homecoming is another key campus event that we are updating, while keeping our Lehigh pride strong! Save the date: Oct. 20.

I hope you are having a great start to 2012. We are excited about the many new opportunities and added benefits we are bringing to you. Continue to visit MyLehigh for the latest details, and log in to update your information. Also, check out ways you can continue to support Lehigh.

See you at Reunion in May!
