Keeping you connected

It’s been a few days, but my ears are still ringing from the noise and excitement of the First-Year Student/Alumni Rally, one of my favorite events of the year. With much fanfare, the Lehigh family celebrated the arrival of the Class of 2014. The culmination of the evening was the adoption of our newest class by the Class of 1964, who arrived at Lehigh 50 years ago. In four years, these classes will celebrate Commencement and their 50th Reunion together, linked by their Lehigh tradition.

Catch a glimpse of the excitement by watching the accompanying video of the Rally in the right-hand column and be sure to mark your calendar for some other great ways to stay connected with Lehigh. Enjoy Founder’s Day on Oct. 22 as Lehigh showcases its traditions and leadership in a moving ceremony in Packer Memorial Church, then cheer your head off at Homecoming on Oct. 23 as we challenge Bucknell on the gridiron. Watch for your invitations, coming soon! We would love to see you back on campus, or at a regional event near you.

If you can’t make it to South Mountain, be sure to become a fan of our Facebook page to view photos, videos, updates and more—just another way we are working to keep you connected!
