The Dalai Lama will give a public lecture at Lehigh on July 13.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will come to Lehigh University in July to deliver an historic series of teachings and a public lecture sponsored by the Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center in Washington, N.J., in collaboration with the university. The half-day ticketed public lecture will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, July 13, in Stabler Arena. His Holiness will give a public talk on “Generating a Good Heart.”
Lehigh University has announced an exclusive pre-sale for faculty, staff, students and alumni for the Dalai Lama public lecture.
Pre-sale tickets may be purchased beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. Details on how to order tickets will be sent via e-mail on Feb. 20.

Tickets will be available for purchase at $30 (seats with backs) or $25 (seats without backs). There will be a four-ticket maximum per person and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

His visit will also include five-and-a-half days of teaching from Thursday, July 10 thru Tuesday, July 15. The spiritual leader of Tibet, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, will teach on Tsong-kha-pa’s Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment: The Lamrim Chenmo. It represents the most extensive teaching of the classic Tibetan Buddhist text that the Dalai Lama has presented in North America. There will be a session each morning and each afternoon.
