Live from Lehigh, it’s Commencement!

What are you doing Monday, May 24? Here at Lehigh, we will be wrapping up one of the best Reunion celebrations ever (they just keep getting better and better, I staunchly believe) by sending off the Class of 2010 at Commencement.

Five years ago, we launched the tradition of the 50th Reunion Class participating in the ceremony that celebrates the accomplishments of their adoptive class. What a thrill it is to see Lehigh’s milestone alumni as part of the procession, bringing full circle the amazing experience we all have in common.

I invite you to join us! For the first time this year, Commencement will be streamed as a live Webcast. So wherever you are in the world, you can cheer on our newest alumni as they begin life after Lehigh.

We’ve done our best, as the Alumni Association, to show these young men and women what being a good alumnus means—things like keeping in touch with Lehigh, coming back to campus, taking advantage of alumni services, and, of course, supporting the university. For our part, we continue to work to offer the best programs, communications, and benefits we possibly can.

The results of the recent alumni survey, which I’ve written about before, are being analyzed and put into action, to best serve your needs. Watch for special coverage in the next Alumni Bulletin detailing the findings and next steps.

Our efforts create a valuable framework, but it is your commitment that brings our powerful alumni network to life and adds even greater value to that Lehigh degree.

For that, the Class of 2010 thanks you.
