Love Lehigh? There's an app for that

Following six months of work by the Office of Communications and Public Affairs and Library and Technology Services, Lehigh has launched a ‘LehighULive’ iPhone application that provides up-to-the-minute information about what’s happening on campus.

A map on the iPhone application lets you search for and pinpoint campus buildings and see your relative location. A directory can put you in touch with faculty, staff and students. Just tap to call, e-mail, or add them to your contacts.

The features of ‘LehighULive’ include:

People—You can look up faculty, staff and students at Lehigh by searching part or all of their name, e-mail address or phone number. You can store their contact information on your iPhone, and email or call them at your leisure.

Places—You can browse a location-aware Google map of Lehigh’s three campuses. You can zoom in on satellite images, search locations, or view photos and descriptions. You can find your own physical location on the map, change map styles, drop pins to mark a location, and more.

News—Stay connected to the university whether you are on campus or thousands of miles away. Choose from:

--Lehigh News—Access top headlines and breaking news from the university
--Brown and White—View content from Lehigh’s student-run newspaper
--Top Sports Stories—Keep tabs on scholar-athletes and all of Lehigh’s varsity sports
--Sports Scoreboard—Get sports scores as they are updated

Events—Check out what's going on around campus. View the entire academic calendar for the upcoming spring semester, or browse the thousands of cultural and extracurricular events that happen on campus each year.

More—Find out how to view other content from Lehigh on YouTube and Facebook using the built-in apps.

The application is available for download to your iPhone or iPod Touch device directly from the iPhone App Store, or via iTunes on your desktop computer. To learn more about the ‘LehighULive’ application, visit http://www.lehigh.edu/lehighulive.
