Making the next five years even better

I know this sounds cliché, but time really does fly when you’re having a great time, and how could I not have a great time working at Lehigh?
To my surprise (since I never age!), it has been five years since I left coaching, moved into the executive director’s office of the Lehigh University Alumni Association, and drafted a Strategic Plan. During that time, the staff has increased from 10 to 17 so we can serve you more effectively, our operating budget has grown by 50 percent, and we launched our current Web site to keep you connected, engaged, and involved with Lehigh and with each other.
Still a coach at heart with competitive juices still flowing, I am proud to say that your Alumni Association has won six nationally recognized awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). We have also been visited by countless peer institutions to observe our programs and services for benchmarking purposes. Our vision is to be the model alumni association by which all others are measured!
Now, in conjunction with the inauguration of Lehigh’s 13th president, it is time to present our plan for the next five years and share the Alumni Association’s 2005-2006 achievements! Click here for a glimpse of the many programs and services available or in the works through your Alumni Association. The first half of this document is our 2005-2006 Annual Report. The second half is a summary of our 2006-2011 Strategic Plan for the LUAA. If you find yourself looking for something and do not see it, let us know! We are here to serve you and make Lehigh a part of your life forever.
Show your Lehigh pride!
Join your fellow alumni for the 142nd Lehigh vs. Lafayette football game on Saturday, Nov. 18. This year’s game is at Lafayette, and I’m sure the Lehigh faithful will turn out in force. If you cannot make it back to campus, don’t worry, we will bring the game to you! Alumni, family, and friends will gather at telecast parties from New England to the South Pacific and everywhere in between! Click here to register for the party in your area.

GO LEHIGH . . . BEAT LAFAYETTE!
