In the News: Rajan Menon on Libya's uncertain future

Rajan Menon, department chair of international relations, wrote a commentary published in today’s The National Interest, a leading online and print publication covering U.S.-international relations.

Menon, a frequent contributor to national media on world politics and security, traces the long road to stability that awaits a nation reeling from four decades of rule by recently ousted dictator Moammar Gadhafi.

“For Libyans, and the states and international organizations that have pledged to support them in the post-conflict phase, the wartime obstacles will prove to be the easy part,” said Menon.

Menon is author of The End of Alliances (2008).
