Welcome the Class of 2013 into the Lehigh family!

Incoming!
The Class of 2013 is yet another Lehigh triumph.
Institutions of higher education nationwide are struggling to fill their enrollment goals. Yet Lehigh not only managed to fill its incoming class, welcoming more than 1,200 new students to the ranks of the Lehigh family, but did it without lowering its academic standards and without compromising on the integrity of the class.
The Class of 2013 is one we can all be proud of. It’s a testament to Lehigh’s tremendous reputation and to your Lehigh legacy, and it’s an encouraging sign for our future.
Will more members of the Class of 2013 need financial assistance in order to attend? Without question, yes. That’s why we have made financial aid and scholarship programs our top fundraising priority, and that’s why we count on your support of the Lehigh Fund. Your support makes a big difference in our ability to attract first-rate students and give them a first-rate education.
Please help me welcome this outstanding group of young people to the Lehigh family! Attend a Student Sendoff in your area, taking place throughout the summer. If you’re near campus, attend The Rally on August 22, the Class of 2013’s introduction to campus life at Lehigh. Both of these events are a great way to show our newest members what it means to be Lehigh for Life. I hope you’ll join us!
And speaking of being Lehigh for Life, we are putting the finishing touches to MyLehigh, the new online community for Lehigh alumni. We have designed MyLehigh to be an inclusive online resource for you, and a tool you can use to stay in touch with each other and with your alma mater. Look for an announcement very soon!
I hope you’re having a relaxing, stimulating summer. And if you have any thoughts or ideas you’d like to share, my door and inbox are always open.
