Economics (College of Arts and Sciences) Degree Overview

Lehigh’s undergraduate major in economics at the College of Arts and Sciences maintains a research-active faculty who engage in high-quality scholarship that is disseminated through influential journals, conferences and other publications. It also provides a solid foundation in economic theory, quantitative analysis, international economics, economic policy and business decision analysis. 

The program provides exposure to the wide scope of economic subjects in order to prepare students for graduate or professional study and/or entry-level occupations.

Lehigh’s economics alumni work as market research analysts, consultants, actuaries, credit analysts, financial analysts, policy analysts, management consultants, in academia, and as teachers.
